Welcome to Rodessa Headstart. We are located in Rodessa, Louisiana and serve the families of Northern Caddo Parish.
Rodessa Headstart is a member of the National Headstart program. It was established in the early 1970's to meet the educational, nutritional, and health needs of low-income families in Caddo parish. Today the center has four classrooms and is licensed for seventy-two students. The staff consist of four teachers and their aides who provide a safe learning environment. Two bus drivers and their aides provide transportation to and from school and any off site travel. The kitchen staff consist of two women who provide a nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch and snack for each child. There is also a center director and family advocate.
